Alsadiq Trust

Introduction:
Alsadiq Library was inaugurated on Sep 2003. Inaugural ceremony was presided over by leader of the House, Senator Wasim Sajjad, religious scholars and prominent religious and social personalities from Islamabad and Rawalpindi also graced the occasion. The basic purpose of the establishment of the library was to cultivate and enhance taste for study in the people of the area, so that the new generation could be equipped with knowledge we have strived to provide books on religion, literature, science and technology for the benefit of every one.
Alsadiq library is a project of Alsadiq Trust Registered and is progressing with patronage of patrons form all walks of life.

Goal / Objectives:

1. To provide people good books on all subjects.
2. To provide good atmosphere to study in the library.
3. To inculcate and strengthen unity among the Muslims.
4. To help educate the masses.
5. To organize seminars and workshops.
6. To introduce science and technology through books.
7. To equip students with latest knowledge for success in new fields of life.
8. To publish newsletter for information of the library members.
9. To help to write thesis, translate and publish new books.

2. You can read books in the peaceful atmosphere of the library.
3. You can consult / have access to reference books.
4. Books are issued to library members to study at home.
5. If a book required by you is not present already in our library, we buy and make it     available with in week.
6. Most of important magazines are available.
7. Books required for research work are issued to the members.

Membership:

Every Pakistani can be a member of the library.

Membership fee:

For adults Rs. 100/- for students Rs.25/- for a calendar year from 1st Jan to 31st Dec.

Library Committee:

Day to day functions are carried out by the committee but important matters are decided by the Trust Board.

Now that school vacation has started, the best utilization of time, for your children, is to read book as a good book is the best friend.

Books enlighten the brain and enhance knowledge and confidence.
Alsadiq Library is your own Library.

Apart from good books on science, religious and other modern branches of knowledge, around two thousands books of special interest to children are available. Please visit to benefit from those books and bring your children along you will be visiting your best friends, the books.

Book bank is also operative in the library. You can get text books, available in the stock free of cost. You can also join this noble deed by donation your such books.
