Al Sadiq Trust was formed in December 1996 by the 7-member Management of Tanzeem-e-Hussaini, with a view to establish this place as an enlightened and forward looking platform dedicated to projection of our Fiqh without hurting anybody’s feelings and faith and create an environment for intra-Muslim unity. A team headed by Mirza Ahmed Nawab drafted the Trust Deed and the Trust was registered in1996, with the Government of Pakistan as a non-profit and non-political organization. Thus an institutionalized system came into being to take over the responsibilities for the construction and management of this big complex. Ayatullah Mohsini (Afghanistan) laid the foundation stone for the construction of this complex on 13 December 1996 (Friday).
