Administrative Structure

Board of Trustees: It consists of Principal Trustees who may decide to nominate or add more members in the Board for functional purpose to share responsibilities. The board is the final lawful authoritative body for policy and decision making on the matters relating to this Complex. Its authority applies to all the building and activities in the premises of this complex as well as the usage of surrounding parking area, to manage and protect the life and property of the momineen; and to ensure that all religious and social activities are performed according to the rules & regulations of the Trust.  At present, there are 17 trustees:

The Board is headed by its Chairman. The Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Board and President of Managing Committee are elected after every three years from amongst the principal trustees.  All the other Committees are nominated by the Board of Trustees from amongst the board members and Member Trustees (from amongst the momineen who have regularly made monthly contributions to the Masjid and Imam Bargah for at least three years).  There is a tradition of members reaching 68 years of age to retire voluntarily. . The board has formed the following functional committees to look after the different aspects of the complex:
  1. Managing Committees: Members are elected committee from the Trustees the Committee is responsible for day-to-day administrative and program related affairs e.g arrangements for prayers, majalis, milads. Ramazan-ul-Mubarak, Aitkaf, Iftari, maintenance and cleaning services, utilities arrangements, financial affairs of the Trust Fund, management of  the employees of the trust, personnel matters, and to implement the decisions of the Board of Trust.
  2. Construction Committee: It is a committee nominated by the Board and is responsible for all construction work of the Complex. It looks after the civil work, purchase of material, controls the expenditures and is answerable to the Board.
  3. Security Committee: It is responsible for all the security arrangement at the complex, (including manpower, equipment, volunteers) and liaison with CDA authorities and Police Department)
  4. Library Committee: This committee is responsible for the management the library housed in a large section of the Complex for the benefit of users irrespective of their religion and belief and gender. Books, audio/video material, digital information are constantly being developed/improved..
  5. Educational Programs committee: This committee arranges the coaching and computer classless for students (for both male and female) as well as summer classes (during summer vacation in schools) and other educational programs.
  6. Medical Committee: This committee is responsible for running the free dispensary constructed within the premises of the complex. It will work with the assistance of a pool of doctors and volunteers largely for the poor..
  7. Shoba-e-Khawateen (Ladies Section): The members of this Section are nominated by the Board of Trustees from amongst the Trustees.  Ladies Section functions as a part/committee of the Trust in close coordination with Trust’s Management and performs under the supervision of the Board and carries out activities for ladies including Majalis, milads and educational programs such as dars-e-Quran, seminars, workshop, computer classes, lectures etc.
